Water Well Completed
Fr. Bourdeau, the
pastor of the Carissade community,
reports that the water well was
completed and is in service. The
following is a picture of the new
well in operation.

Rotary Gives a Second $1,000 Grant
The Rotary Club of Richmond, Virginia awarded an addition $1,000 to the
Carissade water well project. The award was given to St Paul Catholic Church which is the sponsor of
the project. The two grants in combination with
contributions by St Paul parishioners will pay the cost of the water well.

The Rotary Club of Richmond, Virginia awarded a $1,000 grant to the
Carissade water well project. The award was given to St
Paul Catholic Church which is the sponsor of the well
project. Including this grant, a total of $4,500
has been raised by St Paul for the well project. An
additional $2,500 is needed to reach the $7,000 funding
goal for this project. Below, Wayne Snellings (r)
accepts the award on behalf of St Paul Church.

Carissade Well Contracted.
St Paul Haiti Team
returned from Haiti. In collaboration
with the Carissade pastor, the Haiti
Team visited the well site and met with
the well driller. In collaboration with
the Carissade pastor, the Haiti Team
made the commitment to fund the additional
water well. Additional funds will
be raised to cover the higher than expected
cost of the well.
